Patient safety has always been our priority. Even before Covid 19 outbreak we have always followed proper infection control guidelines of several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We are taking extra preventative measurements to minimize the spread of infection in addition to what we have always used;

  • Antibacterial hand soap

  • Hand sanitizers at several location
  • Gloves/face masks/face shield

  • Eye protection goggles and gown

  • Chemical disinfection of counter tops and surfaces

  • Sterilization of all equipment before every use

  • Disposable materials

  • Hepa air purification unit

  • Extraoral aerosol suction system.

  • Clean water unit system

  • Decontamination of the chair/office after each patient.

We sterilize all reusable equipment. Our office uses an Ultrasonic Cleaner followed by an Autoclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat and pressure.

We are dedicated to providing comfortable and quality care to our patients and to make every visit pleasant. Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day or whenever a medical clearance letter is provided. If you are using insurance we will be sending prior-authorization to your company before any major treatment is performed.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • Any recent X-rays. If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 6-months), you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our clinic.

  • A list of medical conditions (ex. diabetes, htn, artificial heart valves, stent, joint replacement etc.)

  • A list of medications you are currently taking. (ex. Medication for heart problems, blood thinner etc.)

  • Name and contact number of your physician/primary care provider if we need to contact them.

  • If you have medical or dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian at the consultation visit. Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery.
If you are pregnant, we must know. We also need your OBGYN contact number. We may have to wait to take x-rays until we receive a clearance letter from your OBGYN.  It is always better if you bring a letter from your doctor before you visit us for your appointment.
